Lazy G Diver is moored at St Abbs which boasts fantastic underwater scenery and is home to Scotland's only Voluntary Marine Reserve. Whether above or below the water you will not be disappointed, with views ranging from the historic ruins of Fast Castle to a glimpse of minkie whales and dolphins breaching the seas.
Skipper Paul is a BSAC advanced nitox diver who has regularly dived at St Abbs for the last 11 years so has first hand knowledge of all wrecks and dive sites that St Abbs marine reserve has to offer.
Lazy G Diver was named by its previous owner Alistair Crowe as a play on the famous Lady Godiva, Lazy is indeed a noble lady of the sea with her bright yellow hull which would draw anyone’s attention.
Lazy G Diver is a 31 foot wooden built boat with a large open deck and is fully licensed to carry 12 passengers. There is a wheel house at the front of the boat and has a Perkins 120 engine allowing a cruising speed of 8 knots.
Lazy operates under the MCA’s code of practice and is fully insured. All modern safety equipment is available onboard including oxygen and individual life-jackets are available for each passenger.
Navigation aids onboard include GPS and radar. There is also dual throttle controls to allow precise picking up of divers to ensure a safe and enjoyable dive.
